My very Dear Wm
A Sabbath Evening all
alone I take my pen to adress you on a sub-
ject that of all others is most important..
you are now become the Head of a family and
many Duties Revolve uppon you[ . ]
Reason: I hope you
will bee a kind tender & [ Afectioate ]

seek an intrest a redemer merrits
thear is safety thear is happiness nothing
short of that can make you happy read your
Bible go to the Hous of worship that is
the place God meets with his people
O my Dear Child could you feel as much enga-
ged for your own salvation as your Mother Does
for you, you would set to it in earnest.
I feel I have been very much lacking in
my Duty to all my Children
