My dear Parents
Yours of the 9th came safe to hand
last Evening, we had anticipated the pleasure of
seeing you all on Tuesday, but if it be your pleas-
ure we shall be equally satisfied to remain yet
& shall be glad the opportunity of replenishing my
ward-robe. Washington
