Goshen Oct 22nd 1831-
Dear Brother.
I take this opportunity to inform
you, that another of our kindred has left us
our Grand Mother
world from which none returns. her spirit
took its flight yesterday (21st) at half past
11 o, clock, in the full enjoyment of all her
mental faculties, resingend to the will of her
redeemer, and in the hope of being welcomed
by her God.
She had been a little worse Monday. but
had revived, Friday morning she appeared to
sink gradually, mentioned in the course of the
day that she should not live till night. she
died easy. without a grown or a sigh,
The funeral will take place to-morrow
I am in haste or I could write more haste
fully, Oh! Henry that you and I and all were
as well prepared for her ^our^ latter end as she
was. for surely for her to die was gain.
