Auburn 18th April 1832
Dr Sir,
W. Beardsley
Birth: 1816-03-27 Death: 1900-01-25
presuming his father
Birth: 1783-11-09 Death: 1857-05-11
has
money in Albany to pay the above Draft
we send it, to save $2.25 which a Draft from the
Banks would cost, if however Beards-
ley has parted with his funds so as not
to be able to pay it, please to write
me immediately & the Draft from
the Banks shall be sent you -
I see by the Papers this morning that Con-
gress are not likely to apportion the Represent-
tatives soon enough for to district this
this State at the present Session of the
Legislature so that there must be an extra
Session or else no Election ^in this state of members of Congress^ can be made
till after the next Winter Session of the N.Y.
Legislature, this delay I think will be rather
in favor of Anti Masonry --
As you are likely to adjourn on the
24th we shall expect you home as soon
as you can go to Florida & return from
there to Auburn
Yours Truly
E. Miller
