Kinney
Inst, the object appears to be to make
a number of Persons [ Defts ]
Alternate Text: Defendants being as is
alledged Ult Deceased & Executors of the
original Defts said Dead in
Cremodis Charity Suit agt Ira Hop-
kins
be done by motion but that it
is necessary for the [ Plff ]

& have them regularly subpoenaed
otherwise persons might be made
Defts in a Suit & proceedings had
in against them without their
their ever knowing of it…
We are all well, there is nothing
new of substance here, we have
frequently heard by Letters & otherwise
that Frances
boys are well; tell Augustus that
his Poney will be in good order
& ready for him to ride as soon as
he gets home, & tell Frederick that
I shall buy him a great many Ches-
nuts & Sugar Plums as soon as he
gets home…
It is said that Goodwin
a few Petitions & taken to Albany
to get the T. P. inspectors removed.
I thinke it lead to make every
excitement in Albany about the U S.
Banke as it only tends to weaken the
great body of the rates for
more obstinate lecture in his Support
of of & of Van Buren
