I have recd yours of the 9th & am
glad to learn that yourself Frances
the little Boys are well & hope that
you will as soon as may be free
yourself from the Company of a
[ Colleuded ]

Bank wishes to get a Vote of the Dela-
gates that all the Country Banks
should agree & be bound to reduce
their Bills in Newyorke, this man-
date of the Regency will not be
Registered as a Majority of the
Delegates think it too degrading
an order to be obliged, as well as
too distinctive to the vital interests
of ^to^ the Country Banks… this advice ^or order^
to the Country Banks is said to have
been remunerated & recommended
by Mr Senator Edwards
Chairman of the Banks or Finance
Committee in Albany…
28 acres of undivided amt of the
South 275 acres has been sold to for
Taxes to Peter Smith
was Settled, I wish you – see if he P.S.
has procured & filed with the Comp-
troller an affidavit of service of
notice on the settlers or occupants
of the Land agreeable to the Statute
see 1st Vol R L Page 412 also 3d Vol Ds appen-

a Tickett for Town offices will
be run at Town ellecting agt
the Regency, nominated by the
Mechanics opposed to the
State Prison mon monopoly
of Mechanics works, it is said
that there is a chance of
beating the Regency with
such a Ticket, it will be
nominated next Monday
