which will lessen your apprehension about our
darling babe

We can Dear hardly hope she will survive it and
sometimes I feel almost willing to resign her entirely
rather than witness sufferings which are wearing away
my heart. Dr Humphreys says he will send George
on in the morning. should he do so he will
accompany this letter. I shall not write again
for should you receive this I think you will not
hesitate about coming home immediately. bring
