Auburn March 30th. 1838.
My dear Jennings
I too have been sick and so prevented from writing
to you since my arrival. I regret to learn that your health is so
feeble and do most warmly approve of your plan of travelling
all in your power.
With almost no business here I find myself perpetually
occupied, how I need not detail.
Tomorrow morning I go to Ludlowville thirty miles distant
and spend the Sunday[ , ]

lowing I set out for New York.
We are all very well and all join in sending much
