Yours of the 3d Inst has been received.
When I wrote we thought fathers

he has had a confirmed Inflamitary fever for 21 days
he is we are in hopes through the worst of it but he
is as weak as he can be and live his fever has not yet
broke but it appears to be wearing off we are In hopes –
he will get along now – altho I wrote to Auburn
