My Dear Seward
I am advised that you should, if you call upon the gen-
tleman in Buffalo as you said you intended to do, to take a friend with
you, as what you say will probably be misrepresented: as I have it from
the authority that you need not question that your quondam
is a great liar, and will misrepresent what you may say. You know
who I mean!
Nothing new here: and no further commotion in the
political field. You will see the Seneca Falls paper of this week
it has a good article
