Dr H.
It is storming awfully—returns
seem to be unable to travel. We give S.
81 maj in Westfield. Ripley that has
been a Lo Co town gives 40. The 2d day
report leaves no doubt that Pomfret
will give 400— Harmony not much less
if any than 300—& indeed the same
spirit is exhibited from all the towns—
No one doubts, I think that the Co will
give 2000—many think it will approach
nearer to 2500.
Dont forget to send me word if
it is settled that you are to be the ap-
pointed agent, so that I may get our
printing done without delay.
