My dear Henry,
I have this moment received
your letter of the 30th which I will send im-
mediately to Lazette
Birth: 1803-11-01 Death: 1875-10-03
. Should nothing unexpected
occur I think we will be ready when you
come. The mail from the east arrived at the
usual time this morning so I suppose the
roads are improving - our rail road is not
used. It will be necessary for you to bring home
a trunk and carpet bag for my use - there
are none left here. Do not ride all night
dearest and make yourself sick. I was in hopes
your journey home would be rather a respite
than an increase of labour. Fred
Birth: 1830-07-08 Death: 1915-04-25
is slightly
indisposed - the effect of a cold. I think will be
as well as usual with proper care in a day
or two. Tell Gusy
Birth: 1826-10-01 Death: 1876-09-11
we received his letter yester-
day morning - it will be answered soon. I was
glad to see it all spelt right - your own Frances
