Albany July 29.
My Dear J.
I waited a day or two for you. But as time was is important to me I set off
tomorrow for Auburn by the way of the North and will arrive within a week. If
you can stop at Auburn for me it will be well - if you cannot follow leave
all the papers you took to N. York, and I will follow you next week to
Chautauqua. The notes &c at Auburn
are paid.
Yours faithfully
W.H Seward.
