My dear Uncle,
The cars of last evening arrived
at Albany somewhat later than usual, and I
had no time to run up to your house as I
should have been exceedingly glad to have done.
I left all well at Westfield on Monday
morning last – wished to be remembered to you &
Aunt F.

I spent the Sabbath, after leavin you, at
Auburn, all well, Augustus
Birth: 1826-10-01 Death: 1876-09-11
happy.
Enclosed you have the $20. which you
were so kind as to lend me when at your
house, & for which you will please receive
my grateful acknowldgements. Please write, on
its receipt; that I may know it has gone safely.
