deposited last week – since we
are smothered in snow & have
had no mail in three days.
Not a settler comes near us;
but it is a fine time to bring
up old business. We have just
completed the opening of the new
land legers. Our recepts are
falling off – & new & then a little
farm is sacrificed at mortgage
