Saturday Morn.
Dear Uncle,
I am desirous of consulting my
Grand Pa
Name: Samuel Seward
Birth: 1768-12-05
Death: 1849-08-24
’ upon a little matter of some importance
to me & which I will explain to you when I get to
Albany — on Monday morning.
The Power of attorney can, I suppose be
sent by mail & the necessity for my immediate
return cannot, I imagine, be so great but that it
will answer if I am with you on Monday morning
when you may expect me.
In haste
Very Respectfully
Your Nephew
Augustus.
