My dear W^m Henry
This being the day our Girls
times is out, from the hour of Refuge – We start her
and your William H Coe by the carrs at 7
o clock tomorrow morning – I have paid
Bills passage written a letter to Capt Schultz
and put under his caire with a request
to send him on to you at Albany —
The Newburgh and Goshen people are getting
into hot strife as to freight and passage on the
different lines – Stages run twice a day from
Goshen to Newburgh & back at 5¢ each way —
I am at present a sick man fever
chills cough expectoration with distressing
faint burns has again the appearance of
shortly closeing my existance —
Your Dear Mama is also very feeble —
Will our dear Frances and the Chdrn
let us know when we may look for
them at Newburgh we will bring them
and Baggage all up if they set a day
or if she prefer turn on to Goshen
we will do the same – Washington
is at Newburgh — is very unwell
You have made a judge of my friend
Wm Kent who will you recomment
as Council for Bate and McKissock
in the e Wood case Affectionately

Do come once or twice before the river
closes — You have but little conception how
much we want to see you — Do write or cause
to be written how long before we may expect F
