Sunday July 24th
My dear Henry,
I have been expecting a letter from you
a number of days and every day have deferred writing
until the next— I will wait no longer as you
will not be in Albany many more days— I
presume your "Introduction" has occupied all your
time– We have had some very warm days–
every thing progresses much as usual– Lazette
does not come— Serene

introductory lecture– I was so well pleased
that I intend attending the whole course, taking

Willie's
the birds? I am afraid it is getting to late to move
them it has been so long deferred– do they begin
to droop or give evidence of moulting? I should be
sorry to be obliged to have them all winter—
