first payment of interest would be due and the reason why interest did
not come from the date of the Bond or any earlier day than that I designa-
ted. Any earlier day would have undid the loan usurious, and put
the whole in jeopardy. That communication must have been received after
your letter was written and I hope was satisfactory.
