My dear Henry,
I have waited
a day or two longer than
I should have done with
the hope that I might
be quite well when I
wrote again. My cough
and a slight fever still
continue. I am not confined
to my bed but most of
the time to my room
My sickness is accompanied
as it generally is with
the nausea which deadens
all my faculties and
depresses my spirits. I sent
