My Dearest Frances,
You are fortunate in being at liberty to remain in your
own shaded home when the sun is pouring down such intense
heat.
I visited at Mrs Seymour's

It is a peace offering – which will probably be a theme
of new complaint.
I shall be with you on Sunday. I am
better today than I have been in ten days, and have a hope
of getting great yet. Ever your own Henry.
