My dear Henry,
I was too unwell yesterday to
write you a letter – I find that reading
aloud increases the palpitations – Lazette
come back if I send for her, but I had
rather not do this if any one will come
from Romulus to answer this purpose – I think
Lazette injures her eyes and I know her
nerves are much disturbed by the occupation–
It was exceedingly warm yesterday – I did
not go to Church – The garden continues
very pretty I wish you could see it –
I have hired a pony for Willie
Summer he wishes to know if he may get
a saddle price $6 – the old one is useless
