My Dear Sister,
After spending an evening with Fanny
and taking a dinner with Caroline
to day and find all very well and ready to give
me a welcome home.
Mr Round
forty seven scholars – they are in very good spirits
The Whigs in NewBurgh are in high spirits
the Loco all quarrel about their nominations,
Tell Lazette
he expressed himself as not altogether pleased
with Judge Conkling
if those now under bail should be convicted his
time with some others he mentioned would come
next, I hear on my return that Thomas
Thompson
his remains are to be brought up to Goshen
for interment to morrow.
I expect to hear soon how your Father
but I do not anticipate any thing more favorable
