My Dear Henry
We have been trying
to go out west for the last two or
three weeks our trunks were all
packed and arrangements made
to leave this place flast Wednesday
morning, but I was taken sick
with violent headache and vomiting
and was prostrate for two days
We intend to leave home (if no
new difficulty does not occur) on
next Tuesday after voting for
Scott
will stop at Oswego and Samuel
and myself will go on to Auburn
I should be sorry if I should
not see you at home and hope that
it may be so, Yours Affectionately
