My dear Mother
I intended to
have written before but something
has happened every day that has
kept me from writing.
I am not able to go to work
at the Store yet and I do not
not think that I shall go there
much before the first of April
for there is nothing for me to
do if I do go back there, as
there is no business in town
at present and the spring trade
does not open untill then.
You will not be home I
suppose before the first of May
We all want to see you here very
much. I think that
you had better come home
to a good dry house.
Aunty
Birth: 1803-11-01 Death: 1875-10-03
and I were down
to Aunt Clarys
Birth: 1793-05-01 Death: 1862-09-05
to dinner yester-
day, to day, Aunty is quite sick
with the Scarlet fever– but Dr.
Robinson
Birth: 1804-02-04 Death: 1889-07-28
say's that it will not
amount to any thing.
I have got so that I can
walk around with a Cane very
well I go down town every day.
Nett Titus
Birth: 1825
wished me to thank
you for that Check she said
that she would have written
her self to thank you for
it but she is not able
to write.
As usual I want some money
