My Dear Son
I was glad to get
your letter – also the
photographs which are
much better than first
though still defective about
the eye. Will you in June
or July send the enclosed
letter to Will
is an opportunity. We hear
nothing of him once he
was at Washington.

We are expecting your
visit in June – do
you go to the Army

very pretty now there is
such an abundance of
flowers. Fanny
had any rides on horseback
yet — it is difficult
to get a gentle horse
Frances
her mothers while you
are here – she will bring Frank
then – it is a long time since
I have seen him. Aunty &
Fanny send love– God
bless you my son
your mother
