My dearest Jenny
I have tried so far to write
you a line every day since I came back &
believe I have accomplished it so far I hope
my letters reach you more regularly than
my mail does me it not being an unfrequent
occurance for a letter from home to be over
a week on the road and one I recd to day
that had been ever since Dec 1st on the way
I have written Mr Day
