My Dear Uncle,
I have this received from Thomas Douglas
Three Hundred Dollars for which I have given him a receipt
in your name, and delivered to him one of the duplicate
copies of the agreement forwarded to me by yourself.
This am't minus your subscription to the Emancipation
$1.00. I have deposited in the bank to your credit.
