Biography
Henry Brown was born in Connecticut. He lived in Batavia, NY, where he practiced law, from 1825 to 1830, at the time of the Morgan abduction. He was an anti-mason and the author of "A Narrative of the Anti-Masonic Excitement, in the Wester Part of the State of New York, During the Years 1826, '7, '8, and a part of 1829". He had five children with his wife, Clara Starr.- Cornelia, Julia, Sarah, Andrew J, and Caroline. He died in Chicago. He is mentioned in AHW's letter to WHS as a representative in the Anti-Mason party. [18320220AHW_WHS]
