A prominent doctor and figure in Auburn, NY. He was a member of the Cayuga County Medical Society, which moved to Auburn in 1817 from Aurora (the society was founded in 1806). One of his most successful surgeries involved tying the end of a subclavian artery on the left side of the clavicle for an aneurism.
