Biography
Born in Cincinnati, Hannah P. Denton was a servant in SSS's house. Subsequently she opened a "Select Female School" in Westfield. While in Westfield, her younger brother Hezekiah M. was employed by BJS as a servant. In 18391221BJS_FMS, Jennings discusses the siblings departing town. Hannah's school was small and Hezekiah was suffering from pain in his chest. It was possible that their departure trip would take them through Albany, where they might call upon FMS.

Biography:
Both Hannah and her brother Hezekiah were members of the First Presbyterian Church while in Westfield. It seems Hezekiah became a member of the church one year before Hannah, so perhaps she followed her brother to Westfield.
