Biography

Benjamin Gould was born in Albany, New York to Thomas Gould and Dorcas Barney. He married Anna M. Heazlit on 27 Dec 1827 and they had eight children. Upon Anna's death he married Abbey Gifford (date unknown) who died shortly thereafter, and finally in 1880 he married Sylvia Ann Smith. He died in Cayuga County at 81 and was buried in Ledyard, New York.
