Emily Paine Hall was the wife of Nathan Kelsey Hall, a lawyer who studied law with Millard Fillmore and was appointed master in chancery by WHS in 1839. He served as the Postmaster General from 1850-1852 under Fillmore. Emily Hall accepted an invitation from Frances on Feburary 17, 1851 in Washington, D.C.
