On February 3, 1818, Judge Bronson married Lucretia Kilbourn, the daughter of Gustavus A. Kilbourn, with whom he had five children: Henry (1819 1870), Sarah Elizabeth (1821 1821Cdied as an infant), Oliver (1826 1860), Sarah Lucretia (1832 1868), and Sarah's twin sister, who died at birth. Judge Bronson died in 1863, and his wife died four years later.
Sarah Lucretia married Richard Warburton King in 1855. Their son, Edward Bronson King (1858 1921), married Lucy Miles Knevals (1862 1947), and they had three children: Edna Bronson King, Lucy Bronson King, and Bronson Warburton King.
