Biography

A character from the novel written by Charles Dickens titled, "The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby". Wackford Squeer is the acting villainous headmaster of the Dotheboys School in Yorkshire. Frances makes references to the Dickens novel in a letter to WHS where she expresses her own bitter experience attending boarding school "under the Squeer Plan".
