Notes for EDWARD GARDINER THOMPSON:
Edward Gardiner Thompson is a lawyer, formerly in partnership with his cousin Judge Blatchford, of the Supreme Court of the United States, was colonel on the staff of Governor Edwin D. Morgan, and as such was detailed to welcome and escort the Prince of Wales to New York when he visited this country in 1860.
