Biography

Old Mother Hubbard is a fictional character in an English language nursery rhyme first printed in 1805. In the poem, Mother Hubbard is a poor woman goes to the cupboard to get her dog a bone. But in the cupboard there is no bone, therefore her dog does not get a bone. There is a debate over whether Old Mother Hubbard is a widow.
