Sarah Gurley is referred to as Mrs. Gurley in Fanny Adeline Seward's diary from 1862-1863, and was the wife of a US Representative from Ohio, John Addison Gurley. She and their daughter Delia Susan Bennett (nee Gurley) were some of a party Fanny describes.
