Daughter of Charles Anderson Wickliffe, U.S. Representative from Kentucky, and Margaret Crepps. Married David Levy Yulee of Florida in 1846 who was a fierce secessionist and pro-slavery advocate. Fanny Seward references her in her 1862-1863 diary as the sister of Mary Wickliffe Merrick whom she meets at a "hop" at Willard's Hotel.
