Biography

Owen Starr was one of the three Fenian prisoners that Lazette Miller Worden reports on to Augustus Henry Seward on July 17, 1872. Owen and two compatriots, William L. Thompson and Edward J. Mannix, were taken to the State Prison for their participation in the series of small raids into Canada that were conducted by US-supporters of Irish Fenians protesting the rule of Britain.
