James H. Perkins was a Unitarian paster in Cin­cin­na­ti Ohio, he was also active in social reform movements and was an author who wrote about American western territories. His death was the topic of a letter from Benjamin Franklin Sanford to Frances Miller Seward dated June 30th 1851.
