The recipient’s endorsement
says 1832.
Dear Seward
Enclosed is off of publication of Notice to change &
Alter the Act of a corporation for this Village, you will
please get the prooff [ paoff ]
Alternate Text: payoff of the publication in the Argus office
& the Village will pay the Expence as the Trustees say.
I understand there is a remittance
circulation relating to the proposed amendment
this of course, when it comes down I wish you
would let me know a little of its character.
I shall make a condensation of your
speech and publish it in the Cayuga Repub-
lican — It is so long that it will take Skin-
ners
I will endeavor it to say what I have to
say in relation to it in the paper.
The Ed of the Republican ^ Patriot ^
has announced his intention to pounce
upon it— will try to keep your end
up with Brother George
Yours
Warden
