I received your letter on the 9th
The kitten is a very good mouser, she caught two
mice, and one young rat. Ma
not like Mr Rathbuns
at West-feild now, but I heard that it was muddy on
December 6h. Augustus
he puts sweet-oil, and Laudanum in it three times
a day. I saw Snip at the door, & supposed he wanted
to be let in, I opened the door, he would not
go in, he said Emmemm, but when I opend
the door to go in Mas' room he followed
me, but I drove him him back and went in.
The snow is 2 inches deep now.
The sun is shining now, I have been out doors
this morning.
Your affectionate son
Frederick.
