Dear Henry,
Although I have written you very
shortly since, I deem it of sufficient in-
terest to you to know whatever h
may be essential in the affairs of the
Lumbermans Bank, to write you again.
Mr. Falconer
funds were in Phil to meet our $4232
draft—& that the a/c Cashr "informs
him that it was an oversight that
they were not appropriated. The old
bill is returned, mutilated—& I have
written to Mr. Falconer to send me
a new one for $4.2658 which will in-
clude charges for , postages & inter-
est to the 18th inst on which day I have
asked him to make the bill payable.
This new bill, if sent to me will
be sent with an apology to Mr. Vander
