Dear Sister,
Since I received your kind letter, (about a
week since, my little ones and I have been
looking
Every stage day for Uncle Henry
We shall still hope, that he will, before he returns –
I am sorry to hear that you too are so much afflicted
with headache, I was confined yesterday all day with it
and today I feel only midling ––
I received a letter from George
he says Tempe
principal fever, he has despaired very much of her
recovery but her symptoms seemed more favorable on
the 8 day the day he closed his letter – he seemed almost
in despair for his three little children – I hope to
know
soon that she is out of danger ––
My dear Sister how much pleasure it would give me
to comply with your kind invitation to return with my
Brother, but I cannot leave my little family this Summer
Cousin J– Dickerson
is gone to New York, I shall try to keep her all summer,
have heard nothing lately from Florida – Julia Ann
is very kind to write often ––
Remember me kindly to Aunt Clara –
Yours affectionately
Cornelia
Please don't write if you
do not feel well, tho I am
always so happy to hear from you
