Monday Evening
Dear S,
We have accounts from the polls today in the strong abolition
towns. which removes the serious apprehension I was under last night
I think it will turn out better than I anticipated; and as those people
go in this county I think they it will be the same over the state
The Farmington quakers promised to pull true, and I have no fear
of them; Granger
I am anxious to have the battle over.– I want to let Flick at that
canting knave G.S
must be ungowned– I have eased my mind a little this afternoon
Mr. S.
I feel better
Truly
A W
Noxon
for the Whigs – that the Whig ticket was
farther ahead in Syracuse on the 2d
day than he anticipated
In Utica the Whig Majority
reduced one half since 1834
Waterloo Whigs 20 ahead 2d day
