Florida 16th April 1839
My dear W.H.
Yours of the 12 Inst
I am fully apprised of the great weight of your
business Concerns, and not less of the purgury fraud
and duplicity that put in opperation (if it were
possible) to blast your political standing and deprive
our Country of your servises – The pressure
of your situation has often caused me to refrain
when I felt anxious to write you, and so far am I
at this moment from wishing to divert one moment
from your weighty concerns of any person imployd
by you that it would give me great pleasure to
render you any assistance my feeble health would
admit of – My impression has been that the
few hours Jennings
times would have ^been^ all sufficient to have made
the necessary arrangement – But I shall submit
the whole to your own convenience
Yours Affectionately
Saml S Seward
