My Dear Wm H
I have to announce
to you the heart rending information that
your Dr Brother B.J.S
death as is not expected to live from one month
to another — He left New York on Thursday arrive here
on Friday at Ten OClock a very sick man has been
growing worse ever since and no possible hopes
of recovery can be entertained – We all wish you
home on as soon as possible – My desire is that you
will arive with all possible dispatch — His Wife
and a large quantity of Baggage is here
