Thursday Morning
My dear Henry
I received your letter by Mr Morgan
this morning — suppose you will return to day
or tomorrow from Goshen — I am preparing to come
to Albany the 1st of October — think Augustus
come with me — I shall require about 50 $
to pay bills here independent of the money for
our traveling expenses shall I apply to Mr
Beardsley
thank you in my last letter for the box of fine
peaches you sent — The rain we have been
expecting has come to day and promises a long visit
it is time for the equinotial storm — All are well
Lazette
think are rather dispirited about election but I
have little opportunity of knowing — If you should

have an opportunity please send the carpet bag I
cannot well put up my things without it
