Wednesday morning
My dear Henry,
I received your letter yesterday morning
I ^am^ sorry you have so many things to vex you – I did
not dream of your expecting me with Blatchford
said you told him you did not expect me in two
weeks and as I then had had no answer to my
letter I supposed that was as early as you thought
it necessary for me to come – What you tell
me of Clarence
next week – I wrote to him two weeks ago
desiring him to inform me when his vacation would
commence, as it was my intention to be in Albany
at that time – he did not answer my letter
probably thought it the same thing to write to you –
I presume his clothes will require attention – it
will be better for me to come down than for
him to come here and return again in a short
time – I am desirous to complete all our

arrangements in Albany so as to be able to come
home with Augustus
Frederick
for him to come home Saturday. We will be
ready to come any day next week that you
or Mr Underwood
Mc Clallen
I prefer to go through in one day –
I have made use of all the checks you sent
me – shall require money for the journey and
some 6 or 8 dollars which I owe here –
Willie’s
your own Frances –
